I like the z-fold book and thanks to Pinterest, I found your site. It's inspired me to rethink a couple of ideas I had rolling in my head. I have a question. Did you cover the covers with materials before or after making the book cloth covers or are the pictures from two different books that are utilizing the z-fold?

how do you stick the flakes onto the book? I have never heard about them before and i want to put them on the cover of my altered book for my art GCSE. it looks amazing!

Gorgeous. I would love to take a class specifically on caterpillar stitching - my own attempts have been very hit and miss, since I have to resort to good old fashioned trial and error to figure out basic things like 'how tense should my threads be while I sew the spine'.

This version in the photo is elegant. It doesn't have those nodes that repeated wrapping makes.
